DOUX

Doux is a French dermatological company specialising in clean skincare and makeup. The brand name 'Doux', translates to 'soft', a word which was key in the development of their minimalistic brand identity. Corresponding to a soft skin, the brand is geared towards individuals with sensitive skin.

Based on the research I conducted before starting this project, skincare brands that have chosen a minimalist approach to their identity have seen more success in recent years than those that don't. Minimalism shows resonance in skincare branding by conveying a sophisticated look, placing more emphasis on function and ingredients.
